The study devoted to Collecting represents a very important chapter in the mapping and analysis of the cultural landscape and art system of a territory. “Collectors, Heritage and Territory,” a meeting conceived, curated and led by Marianna Agliottone and promoted by Fondazione Morra Greco, aims to give voice to the experience of three collectors of the younger generation, Fabio Agovino, Fabio Frasca, Ettore Rossetta, and their initiatives, their energies, their relationship with creativity, and how their activities build and nurture dialogue with local communities and international art networks. Analyzing the strategic function of collecting for the development and economy of a territory’s culture. Starting from the genesis of collecting practice, the works and conceptual links of collections, to the opportunities for promoting projects dedicated to contemporary art.

A reflection by Luigi A.M. Rossi, a certified public accountant, on the protection and transmission of private collections will mark the conclusion of the talk.
