On December 20th, 2024 Fondazione Morra Greco hosted the first meeting of P.A.R.L.A. (Preventing Aggressiveness, Risk, Legality and Abuse), an innovative project aimed at tackling violence among young people in schools.
Organized by Fondazione I Figli degli Altri, the event drew one hundred and twenty students from the Antonio Esposito Ferraioli Institute in Naples to incite collective reflections on the phenomena of bullying, cyberbullying and other forms of aggression.
Thanks to the efforts of psychologist and psychotherapist Rosetta Cappelluccio, president of Fondazione I Figli degli Altri, young participants had the opportunity to exchange views on complex issues such as managing emotions, digital safety and the risks of social media challenges.
Video projections of court cases as well as conversations on real cases were held, among other activities, to stimulate reflection on the consequences that violent behavior has on both victims and perpetrators. The event also provided insight into new legislative tools, such as the introduction of non-cognitive skills in schools to educate young people on empathy and stress management.
